We choose only conservation papers that are Acid Free, PH neutral and chlorine free. We use only (TCF) archival type papers that surpass the requirements of ISO 9706 for permanent paper. Only approved chemicals are used in the production and compliance with recommendations XXXVI of the 'Paper and Board for Food Contact' of the Federal Institute for Risk Assessment, Germany. The papers on which our products are made are suitable for direct contact with dry and fatty foodstuffs and surpass the purity Acts requirements for (heavy metal content) of the EN 71-3, 'Toy Safety Act' as well as Part 3 of the Migration of Certain Elements (Oct. 2002). If a product is wrapped in cellophane then we use only wrapping made of corn cellulose. Please note we are not a paper manufacturer but we do choose only suppliers who meet the strictest international environmental standards and adhere to forest management practices. This we control within our quality-control-management scheme and have no hesitation what-so-ever in choosing another company, even if it means paying higher prices.
